How I Avoided the Aches and Pains of Pregnancy

Many years ago, when I was working as a professional dancer, I danced so much I constantly suffered from various aches and pains.

After an especially taxing weekend of performing, and the kind of aches and pains that kept me up half the night, I gave in and invested in a .

massager for aches and pains

For two years, while I danced 4-6 hours per day, 7 days a week, I used this massager daily, if not multiple times per day. It saved me from sore legs, aching hips, tired feet, and sleepless nights from body aches in strange places.

Seriously. Best. Investment. Ever.

When I stopped dancing, it got tucked away in a closet only to be used every now and then.

Then I got pregnant. Pretty quickly I whipped this puppy back out and holy moly did it save me from the aches and pains of pregnancy!

Sore hips? Nah. Aching feet? No big deal.

While pregnant, I only used it on my hips, legs, and feet, and as I got bigger I turned down the speed and didn’t press so hard while massaging my hips (so as to not vibrate my belly too much), but, seriously, it was a lifesaver.

Imagine getting a leg and foot massage while pregnant every single day!

I slept better because of it.

My body stayed relaxed and flexible (which helped in labor!) because of it.

And while I felt some aches and soreness at the end of the day (especially in my third trimester), if I gave myself a massage before bed I’d wake up feeling brand new and ache-free the next morning!

If you don’t have , you should seriously consider getting one. Don’t suffer aches and pains during pregnancy if you don’t have to.

I’ve owned mine for almost ten years and it’s still running strong!

Take care of your body, Momma. It’s doing the hard work of growing your baby!
